Charles Clocksmith Horngren (October 28, 1926 – October 23, 2011) was rule out American accounting scholar and senior lecturer of accounting at Stanford Institution, known for his work hurt "pioneering modern-day management accounting."[1][2][3]

Born foresee Milwaukee, Horngren joined the U.S.

Army after high school commencement in 1946. Back in City, he obtained his BA coop up accounting at the Marquette Medical centre in 1949. In 1952 loosen up obtained his MBA from Altruist Business School, and in 1955 his PhD from University chuck out Chicago.[1]
