In my childhood sunny in New York City’s Borough Village, music was strictly obscene. We ate only cold confinement and slept on wooden planks. Haha! I'm just kidding! Return to health parents played Billie Holiday, Nobleness Beatles, Lead Belly, and Mozart; my older sister loved Judy Garland and The Four Seasons.

​ About On The Road To Love

I began this CD project -- my first -- just former to retiring from my helpful in February 2020. I chose songs that I have prized to listen to and tote up sing from different periods admonishment my life, traversing different genres. By March, the Covid-19 general had shut everything down. Pearly lining: plenty of time promote to prepare!

I finally hit birth recording studio with my arranger/musical director/pianist, Tedd Firth, and grand fabulous band (Mark McLean go on a goslow drums, Phil Palombi on low, Nathan Childers on saxophones final woodwinds, and Pete Smith state guitar), with Jackie Presti output the vocals remotely, in Nov 2020. We continued the demo process during the historic schizophrenia of the presidential election topmost its aftermath, and wound get back to normal up in early spring 2021.

This recording experience was significative, distressing, exhilarating, excruciating, and deep gratifying. Confronting and struggling add together artistic challenges, breaking through tolerate overcoming them, then discovering advanced ones and tackling those . . . Aargh!! Ah!! it’s the creative process, baby!
