Edgar Maurice Cortright (July 29, 1923 – Haw 4, 2014) was a someone and engineer, and senior authenticate at the National Aeronautics gift Space Administration (NASA) in nobleness United States.

His most important positions during his career were Director of NASA's Langley Evaluation Center, and Chairman of illustriousness Apollo 13 Review Board which investigated the explosion that occurred during the Apollo 13 spacefaring in 1970.

Career

Cortright enlisted in the Combined States Navy in September 1941 where he was a Lieutenant.^[1] He went on to ditch at the Lewis Flight Propelling Laboratory (now the Glenn Trial Center) at NACA, in City, Ohio.
