Filipino basketball coach

Mike Reyes is a-one Filipino basketball coach currently teaching Southwestern University Cobras in leadership CESAFI. He is the relation of PBA champion coach Chot Reyes.[1][2][3]

Career

Early days

Reyes coached the Ateneo Blue Eaglets in the junior's division of the UAAP till 1998.

After his high college stint, Reyes coached the Iloilo Megavoltz in the Metropolitan Sport Association.[1]

He became an assistant mentor to Chot at Pop Lemonade Panthers (2000 to 2001), boss on its successor team Coca-Cola Tigers (2002 to 2005),[3] designated for the role of television coordinator.[4]

Cebu collegiate league

He later ormed the University of San Carlos Carolinians, when he led grandeur team to two consecutive finals appearance in 2006, and 2007, but both lost to honourableness University of the Visayas Simple Lancers.[2][5]

He became an assistant motor coach and athletic director of South University Cobras in 2012,[2][6] charge later promoted to head professor in 2016.

He led prestige Cobras into winning the 2019 CESAFI basketball finals.[3][7]
