SIDELIGHTS: Elizabeth Brundage's debut novel, The Doctor's Wife, is set in upstate Additional York, where Brundage and prepare husband, a physician, lived sooner than his residency.

Nobility violence escalates with a butchery and a kidnapping as Brundage's story proceeds to a ending, which was called "realistic even satisfyingly dramatic" by Marianne Poet in a review of picture novel for Library Journal.
